PWC - White And Bright

Can I keep it up I ask myself, that's two cards so far this week! It has meant I have virtually ignored everyone in the house though.
Anyway onto the Challenge from Papertake Weekly Challenge - we had to create a card with some white and at least one bright colour.
So this is my entry a black stamped image La Blanche i think with an added Tim Holtz chandalier (mmm... fancy light, you know what I mean). Coloured with fired brick distress ink, painted with a water brush. Simple matting and layering onto black gloss card and red velvet paper.

Done!

Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch 45

Hi
The idea suddenly came to me, I shouldn't just buy crafting goodies, I should actually be using what I buy. So I am starting the week by taking part in the PWC which is sketch45.

I have used old and new in this card. The stamp I have had for a while and the K&Co papers too. The new is the border punch I bought last week and the ribbon I bought this week to make some flowers. I do honestly intend to craft more, but I keep getting sidetracked by more and more products coming out. Has anyone ever become homeless through crafting I wonder?

Thanks for looking.

Pic Not brill, But You Get The Idea

Hiya

just thought I would upload these pics of things I have made recently. As it says in the title the pics aren't brill but you get the idea. Hubby has bought a new camera because this one gave us so much grief, so future photo's will be better (she says).

This is my first book made with the WRMK Cinch, for DD teacher.

This card was made for other DD's boss at work.

And finally this last card was made for our neighbours little girl.

Just realise dthis last pic is with the new camera, lol.

Thanks for looking.

CCT Challenge 110- Make Your Own

Hi
I'm posting in red today to match the card I made for CCT's challenge 110 Make Your Own. I have been buying some cutting dies recently and asked my hubby to find me materials that I could cut, he came back with something that had felt on one side and a patterned foam on the other. I inked a rectangle of the stuff up and stamped it onto card before using various distress inks around it.

To be honest i'm not sure what it is for but it does die cut brilliantly. I know you can't see much of it here but it does make a great background, no doubt you will see much more of this pattern on future cards. I topped my card using TH die heart n wings stamped with Paperartsy grunge flower stamp. Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Leanne!!! - Sketch Saturday

Hasn't time flown?? And just to prove it my DD1 is 18 today! Welcome to the adult world Leanne.
Not wanting to embarrass her at all.... Well not much, I am entering her card on the Sketch Saturday blog.

I have been having a play with my new TH distress inks and stamps they are fab. But i'm afraid I have to say I think Leanne is the star in this card!

I printed off her piccy onto canvas for a bit of added texture, then happily inked and stamped all around her. I think it is sooo cute , Lol.

Happy Birthday Gordon - Mojo Monday Sketch

Well, what a time i've had trying to get this picture uploaded...

Stupid computer, stupid card reader, stupid me - probably.
This is my take on the Monday Mojo Sketch made for my DH's birthday.

The photo is a little dark but you get the idea, I used Tim Holtz's distress inks, rubber stamps, cog and spinner, cardstock stickers and corner (I really needed that corner, the elements were pretty weighty). Basic grey paper and whitewashed cardstock were used for the backing . I covered 2 wooden dominoes with canvas and the 3rd was painted, all three stamped and inked.

Thanx for looking.
